Holly Anne writes horror/thriller with a gothic flair or some such thing. Hailing from the Midwest, specifically from a corn maze in Iowa, Holly Anne grew up with a taste for the macabre and all things spooky inspired from works such as Edgar Allen Poe and Stephen King. Armed with her Masters in Social Work, a slight caffeine addiction, and her trusted familiar, Sebastian, Holly Anne crafts stories that rake into you. Stories that represent the harder parts of the human condition centering around themes of grief, longing, and pain.
When not contemplating her existence, she can be found consuming stories (spooky and non-spooky), giving herself emotional whiplash, enjoying long walks in the woods, and feeding the existential horror that persists. She is currently serving in the United States Army with her trusted companion Sebastian, who, unfortunately, is not a demon butler.
In the Midnight Garden, Holly Anne's debut is a gothic romance retelling of beauty and the beast meets Dracula set to release early 2026.
